Marcus Tremonto and His New Lighting Forms

Recently the New York Gallery Phillips de Pury & Company has organized an exhibition of American lighting designer Marcus Tremonto.

Marcus started his professional life as a scientist, specialist in analytical mathematics. That’s probably why when he joined the group of concept designers in the Art Institute of Chicago, he still was the dreamer of future civilizations.
His personal exhibition presented one of such civilizations. It still has traditional lighting fixtures like pendants and floor lamps, but sometimes it’s only the reflection of forms in the neon light.
